Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport on your scheduled flight, a Nirvana driver will be waiting for you, holding a sign with your name. You will then be taken to your lodge located on the outskirts of Mt. Meru in Arusha. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure; you can relax at the lodge or explore Arusha city. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided at the African View lodge or similar standard accommodation on a half-board meal plan. There will also be a briefing at the hotel at 4:00 PM before the hiking day.
Elevation: 4,921 ft to 8,250 ft Hiking Time:  4-6 hours Distance: 14 km | 9 miles Habitat: Rain Forest We will depart from African View Lodge (AVL) at 9:0 AM and drive to Momella Gate in Arusha National Park. This drive will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at the gate, we will take care of the necessary formalities before beginning our trek. The hiking trail starts in open grassland, where there is a high possibility of spotting wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, antelope, elephants, and buffalo, accompanied by an armed ranger. Our hike along the Southern Route will lead us through the rainforest to Maio Waterfalls and Fig Tree Arch, ultimately arriving at the Miriakamba Huts, which are located in a grassy glade.
Elevation: 8,250 ft to 11,712 ft Hiking Time: 3-5 hours Distance: 6 km | 3 miles Habitat: Heath We continue our ascent through the rainforest until we reach the heath zone, characterized by giant heather and various moorland plants. Along the ridge of the saddle, we can enjoy views of Mount Meru Crater and the Ash Tray. Upon arriving at the Saddle Huts, there is an option to hike to the summit of Little Mount Meru, which offers stunning views and helps with acclimatization.

Afterward, we descend to the Miriakamba Huts, and from there, we quickly descend through the tropical rainforest to Momella Gate.
